Job Description
Performs duties to ensure support, maintenance and data integrity of all HR technology solutions. Serves as a technical point-of-contact for HR, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports software implementation and other technical projects as assigned for Human Resources team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
System Support & Maintenance
- Serves as HRIS functional team expert providing support across the HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent Management, and Time and Payroll components
- Monitors all vendor integrations for errors, responsible for timely resolution. Work with vendors and internal business owners to implement new integrations gathering requirements, testing, and establishing standard support procedures.
- Assists with HR System vendors to review, test and prepare for new features and enhancements
- Performs system audits
- Point of contact for operational system issues or questions
- SME for excel work and ppt displays of data -- bar charts, pie charts, etc. for PPT presentations for the HR team (excel wizard)
- Expertise in all HR systems – Ultimate Software, Avature, Litmos(LMS), etc.
Reporting
- Creates and maintains reports and responds to data requests for ad hoc reports. Reports will range from simple listings up to highly complex reports using advanced reporting tools and techniques
- Maintain existing, and create new management reporting dashboards based on business requests
- Establish, maintain, report HR KPIs – Overall HR Scorecard
- Establish and perform key Talent analytics to support HR core practices
- Identify and introduce opportunities for integration of machine learning / artificial intelligence into core HR practices
- Central source to support the development, tracking and maintaining of overall HR budget
Data Maintenance
- Manage and support the uploading of mass data changes within the various support systems, including template setup and establishment of processes to support data changes
- Responsible for running ad hoc processes
- Run audits and correct issues found, striving for elimination of issue at source rather than relying on back-end corrections
- Maintains HR system configuration table
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field or equivalent experience
- Strong Interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Sound analytical skills
- Minimum of 5+ years’ HR Systems experience required.
- Proficiency in Ultimate Software (UltiPro), Cognos BI, and Excel.
- Experience building out component companies
- Understanding of software development life cycle is needed.
- Experience deploying new systems, integrating existing applications.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance laws, as well as Federal, State and Provincial Laws related to payroll administration, with excellent knowledge of overall compliance and government reporting requirements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 3 (+) years of HRIS experience in an Ultimate Software (UltiPro) environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization
- Must be organized with an ability to manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner
- Detail-oriented with strong ethics and integrity.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
