Software QA Test Engineer –

We are looking for a candidate skilled at performing detailed testing of POS systems, Web and Mobile applications.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Manual Testing for Mobile Apps: Conduct manual testing on mobile applications, especially on Android platforms.
• Automation Testing for Mobile Apps: Automate mobile app tests using tools like Appium/Flutter Driver.
• Automation Testing for Web Apps: Automate web app tests using tools like Selenium.
• Knowledge of Flutter: Understand the specifics of our Flutter apps to provide effective testing.
• Backend Testing: Perform backend testing, ensuring seamless integration with our PHP Laravel backend (PHPUnit).
• API Testing: Test backend APIs using tools like Postman.
• Jira Proficiency: Utilize Jira for task tracking, bug reporting, and test case management.
• Database/SQL: Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.

Soft Skills:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify subtle issues in mobile apps.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to document issues and collaborate with developers.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues.
• Time Management: Ability to manage testing schedules and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to new tools and processes as needed.
• Sweet Tooth: Ability to eat M&M’s

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with POS systems.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiar with AWS/Google Firebase a plus
