Positions:
- Bus Person/Dinningroom Assistant ($2.83/hour + tips | $17-$23/hour average)
- Server ($2.83/hour + tips | $34-$40/hour average)

Job Scope Bus Person/Dinningroom Assistant:
- Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
- Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. to appropriate areas for washing.
- Have good knowledge of restaurant’s table and seat numbers.
- Check floor and clean as required.
- Inspect assigned restroom and clean as needed.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to Server as needed.
- Communicate with server and host to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
- Assist servers and bartenders as needed; ie with food delivery, restocking, etc.
- Maintain the floor, vestibule, and outside of the restaurant.
- Maintain bus tubs, glass racks, and restock glasses.
- Thank guests as they are leaving.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Qualifications Bus Person/Dinningroom Assistant:
- No previous restaurant experience required.
- Must be able to communicate with guests.
- Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Job Scope Server:
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. Checklists are provided.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Accurately control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Possess adequate alcohol service knowledge; read and understand the company-provided alcohol service guidelines. Attend and satisfactorily pass testing for mandatory RAMP/TIPS certification within 90 days of employment.
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
- Have or develop a knowledge of wines and be able to recommend, explain, etc to guests.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable). Make sure all marketing material is in the check presenter.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean uniform and apron. Uniform shirts and aprons will be provided by the company.
Qualifications Server:
- Be able to communicate with and understand our guests.
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
