Position Overview
KidStrong is seeking an enthusiastic eCommerce Merchandising Intern to join our growing KidStrong Equipment & Retail team for the summer. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in both B2B and D2C eCommerce operations on the Shopify Plus platform and NetSuite ERP system. The ideal candidate will help manage our online product catalog of unique equipment and apparel, ensuring optimal presentation and organization to drive sales to both our franchise locations and center members.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with product setup, categorization, and merchandising in Shopify and Netsuite
Support product information management across digital platforms
Create and update product descriptions, specifications, and imagery
Organize products into logical categories and collections to enhance user experience
Collaborate with marketing team to highlight featured products and promotions
Monitor product performance metrics and recommend optimization strategies
Assist with seasonal merchandising updates and promotional campaigns
Support data synchronization between Shopify and NetSuite
Research industry trends in children's fitness equipment and apparel
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Merchandising or related field
Basic understanding of eCommerce principles and digital merchandising
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written communication skills for crafting compelling product descriptions
Basic knowledge of digital imaging and photo editing a plus
Familiarity with Shopify, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Interest in child development, or related fields a plus
