    Role: Project Manager, Consultant - Indianapolis, IN

    Department: Project Management

    Reports To: Senior Consultant or Discipline Lead

    Position Summary

    Implementing a variety of appropriate methodologies, the Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of each project assigned to them at Fusion Alliance.  A leader who effectively utilizes personnel and processes to drive successful delivery, the Project Manager works with Fusion's clients to formulate a vision and leads the team through the project life cycle to accomplish the desired project outcome. 

    The Project Manager creates, maintains, and executes a work plan, which includes tasks assigned to resources, schedule, and budget.  The Project Manager is responsible for weekly audits of time sheets and project budget updates, preparing and distributing client project status updates, and communicating regularly with clients on project status.

    • Manages multiple priorities with a highly organized and detail oriented approach while coping with the pressures of multiple inputs

    • Mentors and shares knowledge with the project team and other Project Managers
    • Advances the Project Management discipline through keen interest in process improvement
    • Demonstrates the ability to lead by serving the team and the client

    Desired Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher education
    • 7+ years relevant professional and technical experience coupled with a perpetual hunger to grow and learn
    • Experience managing software application and/or web development/digital projects
    • Experienced Agile Practitioner (or possessing Agile/SCRUM knowledge) with the ability to manage large, enterprise application or web development projects in a true Agile environment
    • PMP, ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), Scrum Master, Project Plus, or other PM certification
    • Experience with MS Project or Project Server
    • Productive, goal-oriented candidates who want to make a real impact on the organization and their customer
    • Adept at managing projects for different clients and different business verticals
    • Ability to mentor and share knowledge with the project team and other Project Managers
    • Ability to coach Product Owner and Project Team to achieve desired project outcomes
