Job Summary The Camp Counselor enhances the i9 Sports & NIKE Experience. Camp Counsellors work to enhance campers’ experience by providing engaging, stimulating, and safe activities for them to participate in. They are responsible for ensuring campers know what activities they are meant to be participating in throughout the day, and they must take attendance before any activity begins to ensure that all campers are accounted for. Camp Counsellors create a mentally and physically healthy environment for the campers. The Counselors will need to build relationships with players and parents, making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered.

Responsibilities

Empower kids in the fundamentals of many sports, skill development, and fun

Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values

Supervise the overall operation of designated sports on assigned days

Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills

Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge

Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems

Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players

Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships

Ability to work Monday - Friday 8am - 1pm
