    Job Title: Infant Lead Teacher

    Job Summary: The Infant Lead Teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for infants, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental progress. The role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining communication with parents, and collaborating with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Child Care and Development:
    • Provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for infants.
    • Monitor and support the physical, emotional, and social development of each infant.
    • Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
    • Conduct regular observations and assessments to track each child's progress.
    1. Health and Safety:
    • Ensure the health and safety of all children by adhering to all licensing guidelines and company standards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
    • Administer first aid and medication as needed, following proper protocols.
    1. Communication:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
    • Address any concerns or questions from parents promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
    1. Classroom Management:
    • Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
    • Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and social skills.
    • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff.
    1. Professional Development:
    • Stay current with early childhood education best practices and attend professional development opportunities.
    • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
    • CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Strong understanding of infant development and early childhood education principles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
    • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

    Work Environment: The Infant Lead Teacher will work in a classroom setting, interacting with infants, parents, and other staff members. The role requires physical activity, including lifting and carrying infants, and may involve exposure to common childhood illnesses.
