Our goal is to provide a springboard for launching a successful career at The Walt Disney Company.Disney Cruise Line Shore side Operations Internship is a part of the Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) Intern Program and is a 12-week immersive summer internship. During the internship, from May to August 2022, participants will:Develop skills in a robust environmentWork on a project that will impact the businessDevelop key leadership skillsReceive continued mentorship from peers and senior leadersUpon completion of the internship, interns could be invited to take part in the full time DSE Rotational Program in summer 2023.Currently seeking undergraduate juniors heading into their senior year, fall 2022 Responsibilities:A day in the life…Work in a dynamic operation that consists of shoreside operations, coordination of all 3rd party services, and support through employee and guest servicesOversee all guest transportation from Walt Disney World Resort to cruise ship portHandle confidential guest information and guest escalationsPartner with technology teams on troubleshooting challenges with Guest and employee applicationsRecord and analyze data to create business opportunitiesBasic Qualifications:What you bring to the role…Previous hospitality (theme park, restaurant, retail, resort/hotel, school work, etc.) experienceProblem-solving capability and strong interest in reading and interpreting dataAbility to work both independently and in a collaborative team environmentComfortable in escalated situations with a positive attitudeKeen organizational skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Previous guest relations/services experienceRequired EducationCurrently enrolled in a college or university, working towards a Bachelor’s degreeAdditional Information:Internship Eligibility:Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional InternshipMust be at least 18 years of ageMust not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
