    Join Delta Dental of Washington (DDWA) as a sales support intern this summer and make a direct impact to help all Washingtonians keep a healthy smile! This Sales Internship program at Delta Dental of Washington will give students an opportunity to explore a career in dental insurance sales and account management. Working specifically with our Sales and Client Management teams, you will learn about our business through on-the-job training, working closely with a variety of Delta Dental of Washington team members to gain hands-on experience across sales and client management. Our summer sales support intern will be introduced to the world of dental insurance and will actively engage in a variety of tasks/projects within the Sales and Client Management arenas. Intern will participate in: Skills you will gain during the internship: CRM (Salesforce.com), Excel, and Power Point skills Ability to lead a project end to end, from initial starting point to presenting results Engaging with external customers to discuss product specific content Professional communication between departments Knowledge of the entire sales process from prospect to post sale What skills do you need to have before the internship to succeed? Ability to multi-task across a broad set of tasks Detail oriented and highly organized Collaboration and a team approach, but also can work independently Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Experience or interest in sales, sales operations, or customer service This internship sounds exciting for you if want to: Explore a career in sales or sales operations and curious what your professional path might look like Direct exposure to the departments and processes of the dental insurance industry Improve processes that directly impact the sales department and ultimately the communities that we serve Build skills and develop relationships with mentors across Delta Dental of Washington in different career paths Interested in learning more about our open internship?
