JOB SUMMARY
Provides technical support to Southern Region Production Engineering
Department. Assists with routine and complex activities involving data
acquisition and storage, report and presentation generation, mapping and
information processing.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide advanced technical support to engineers.
- Accumulate and effectively organize engineering data from multiple
sources for engineering analysis.
- QC accuracy of well and production data, take appropriate action on
any changes, and communicate required corrections to the
necessary parties.
- Create and maintain custom database and spreadsheets of technical
data as required by Production department. Work on report generation
utilizing incoming SCADA Data
- Compile, assemble and distribute Production parameters reports as
requested
- Responsible for loading/entering, verifying, manipulating,
analyzing, and reporting data.
- Provides user support for software systems to other technical
support and professional personnel, including installation and
maintenance of software and troubleshooting user problems.
- Works well independently or with a team to perform more complex
data analyses.
- Primarily interfacing with Resource Development and
Production/Completions Operations
- Initiates and develops more accurate and reliable data analyses and
reporting methodologies.
- Monitors new technologies and draws upon expertise to make
recommendations for further exploitation of existing technologies.
- Provides intermediate-level discipline-specific training to new
systems users.
- Regular updates of wellbore diagrams and performance of AFE reviews
with Engineering Team
- Development of tools for better tracking of facility equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Strong computer skills, including MS Office
Advanced proficiency in;
- Office, Aries, Access, Powerpoint, SQL, Peloton (Wellview/Siteview)
Basic Proficiency in;
- Spotfire, Geographix/GIS, and SAP
Proven team player
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or other technical training; Experience in Oil &
Gas Sector Preferred
- Five years of related experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment
