Pace Systems, Inc. is a Comprehensive IT, Security, Electrical, Audio Visual, and Software Solutions located in Naperville, IL. We're currently seeking Help Desk/ Field Tech Support for a client located in Chicago, IL for a 1 year contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
• Travel to Client Sites Required
  • Hyde Park, North Shore, Harvey
• Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
• Track customer issues and resolutions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
• A+ Certification Preferred
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Positive and professional demeanor

Essential Duties:

• Provides resolution for escalated service tickets
• Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
• Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes
• Configures and supports internal and/or external networks
• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
• Troubleshoots network performance
• Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
• Maintains a log of completed work using an incident-tracking application
