SBM Offshore is currently recruiting for a HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS
PARTNER (HRBP). In this role, The HRBP will add value to the business
leadership team on human resource related issues to achieve competitive
advantage through its Human Capital Strategy. You are the line
manager’s day-to-day Single Point of Contact for all Human Resource
related matters, ensuring a strong focus on SBM Offshore’s values as
well as a long(er) term Human Capital view.
The HRBP leads large scale change management initiatives compliant with
(local and global) law & legislation, and which are aligned with
existing and future SBM Offshore tools, instruments and procedures
(within the remit).
You are also the local partner for HR expertise in the successful
implementation/ execution/ monitoring of policies, processes and
projects. You will participate in the development and implementation of
(new) HR systems, policies, processes and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an HR Business Partner, you act simultaneously on different
levels, from more practical to strategic and back, to add value to
the business leadership team. Therefore you take both the short and
long term perspectives into account.
- You empower and coach the line managers to add value and guide them
in the successful execution of all HR processes.
- With your knowledge in organizational design and workforce planning,
you are ready to drive the next step in our growth.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to develop solutions to enable
our strategic initiatives
- Objectively manage, investigate and resolve complex employee
relations issues
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and HR related
trends through networking, internet research and other sources.
Partner with legal department when appropriate.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact when coaching business leaders.
Provide HR guidance on HR related issues such as: career
development, succession planning, coaching, counseling and
disciplinary actions
- Work alongside management and employees to improve work
relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
- Perform recruitment duties to attract highly qualified talent by
partnering with hiring managers and managing selection process
(domestic and international)
- Develop employment terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
from other Country Offices.
- Offer guidance and lead change management plans for organizational
restructures and workforce planning
- In charge of mitigating/ reducing risks (legal, capability) to the
organization
- Ability to apply strategic thinking skills and knowledge on
organizational design plans
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply the theory and practice of
ADKAR change management principles and appropriately at the
individual, team and organizational level;
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply different resourcing & talent
planning methodologies and tools to ensure the organization has the
right workforce for the current and future business requirements;

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum, of Bachelors in Human Resources or related field of study.
PHR preferred.
- 7 years HR experience as an HRBP or Generalist who has specific
related experience within recruitment, organizational design and
change management planning and talent management.
- Proven project management skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong internet recruiting skills
