Godwin, a Xylem brand, offers a broad product line of fully automatic self-priming pumps used in temporary and permanent applications.  With a full range of diesel and electric pumps available to purchase or rent, Godwin pumps are used for dewatering and liquids transfer in mining, constructions, municipal and industrial projects around the world.

THE ROLE: Godwin, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire top candidates to become part of our team and have an opening for an Outside Sales Representative for our Indianapolis, IN location. This Outside Sales Representative will utilize technical, communication and product skills to solve customer fluid handling problems and increase company business through the development of Godwin Dri-Prime® pumping systems and related pumping products, particularly as related to the rental of pumps in the construction and industrial field. The ideal candidate can reside in Indianapolis, IN, Bloomington, IN, Columbus, IN or surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Expand the sale and rental of the Godwin Dri-Prime® Pump through establishing and maintaining customer contacts,
• Analyze and assess customers’ pumping needs.
• Recommend and design pumping systems to meet customers’ needs.
• Provide technical services and support to customers.
• Generate sales reports, bids, proposals and quotes.
• Participate in trade/professional shows and conferences as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of three years experience in related field of pumps, pumping systems or equipment rental preferably within industry or construction industries.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanic or Civil Engineering preferred. 
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Effective interpersonal skills with customers, employees and management team
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain focused and organized
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications
