SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

SATELLITE SYSTEM INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER - PAYLOAD

As a System Integration & Test Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and executing all satellite-level integration and test activity for the satellite and/or its subsystems. You will help shape the satellite system architecture and vehicle design. You will lead mechanical, electrical, and RF integration operations on the flight satellite vehicles and flight hardware simulators. You will ensure the satellite payload is ready for flight through verification of design, integration, and configuration. You will develop the automation capabilities in the areas of both integration and test in order to bring the hardware from engineering to production.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for vehicle integration build flow and test concept of operations
    • Responsible for enabling day-to-day execution of the vehicle integration and test flow
    • Write and execute test plans and test procedures for the flight vehicle
    • Lead ground test operations during the integration and test campaign
    • Responsible for enabling day-to-day execution of the vehicle integration and test flow
    • Review test data, lead anomaly investigation and resolution, and verify system test coverage on flight or flight-representative hardware
