LEAD NETWORK OPERATIONS ENGINEER
As Lead for the Starlink Network Operations Engineering Team, you will
be a part of designing and operating one of the largest networks in the
galaxy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible engineer for the overall ISP network design,
implementation and operation
- Leading the Network Operations Team
- Clear planning of project stages and identify critical milestones
- Assist with recruiting, coaching and/or developing organizational
talent
- Maintain the uptime and performance of the network
- Manage network interconnections, network collocation sites and
points of presence
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of industry experience operating global networks
- 5+ years leading and managing teams
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to lead and grow team members
- Able to create documentation and procedures for the team
- Deep understanding of carrier networks including:
- Routing (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Subscriber Management (BNG)
- Anti-DDoS
- Internet Services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.)
- Mobile IP
- Possessing Cisco, Juniper or other industry certifications
- Previous exposure to contract negotiations & vendor relationship
management
- Network peering, Content delivery networks, Data centers and
collocation
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to travel globally
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed

including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you
must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S.,
protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible
to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department
