    The Strategic Solutions & Initiatives (SSI) team is a team of Talent Acquisition (TA) knowledge partners who execute TA strategy & facilitate initiatives. We focus on complex, high impact cross functional global projects. We value moving quickly, fostering collaboration, and being thought-partners to LinkedIn’s TA teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

    • Work with project sponsors and the functional leaders within and outside of Talent Acquisition to craft and confirm project objectives
    • Develop and articulate project plans and timelines through development of project charters and workplans
    • Mobilize project teams; clearly articulate the plan along with roles & responsibilities for each project team member and stakeholder
    • Drive project execution through management of project timeline, deliverables, team accountability, and issue and risk management
    • Prepare and deliver project status updates and business reviews to key internal stakeholders
    • Build and execute change management plans
    • Build relationships with the project sponsor and project team members
    • Use problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems

    TALENT ACQUISITION:

    • Partner with TA Leadership & Stakeholders to define the TA strategy, vision, and future of recruiting for LinkedIn’s Talent Acquisition team
    • Create and maintain the multi-year TA strategic roadmap; working with TA leadership team to define supporting metrics, targets, and prioritization of initiatives
    • Be an expert on Talent Acquisition process, tools, assessments, marketplace trends, recruiting industry, and future innovation
    • Identify and deploy best practices with a focus on operational excellence

    PEOPLE MANAGER:

    • Manage team of project managers, aligned to supporting Talent Acquisition operational excellence
    • Support the learning and growth of all team members regarding project and change management
    • Provide talent acquisition expertise to project teams within the Talent Acquisition org

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Project Management role
    • 6+ months people management experience, managing a minimum of 2 direct reports

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    TALENT ACQUISITION:

    • 3+ years of progressive corporate OR search firm recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
    • Knowledge of industry trends
    • Experience in driving recruiting initiatives

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

    • Experience in effective execution of global cross functional projects using project management methodologies and tools
    • Consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
