    The Global Customer Operations (GCO) Knowledge Management Solutions (KMS) team is responsible for organizing, writing, and publishing LinkedIn’s Help Center content. As a Senior Rich Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing internal relationships with our business partners to understand the rich media and e-learning needs of our products that enable our Members and Customers to get the most out of their experiences with us.

    The role is dependent on your ability to gather the necessary information to develop relevant and complete rich media content, designed specifically for our Help Center audiences. You’ll analyze requirements, create strategy and plan for timely delivery that use rich media as a differentiator for the experiences of our Members and Customers. In this role, you’ll need to collaborate closely with team members leading content development in all areas of the business, across all products, and with multiple teams and global locations to provide the best content possible. Researching, reviewing, measuring and creating the right rich media content to enhance the Help Center experience will be a core component of your job.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Establish guidelines for Rich Media content development, production and distribution.
    • Own the process horizontally across different internal lines of business and product areas, project managing simultaneously multiple initiatives on their full life cycle, including concept development, pre-production, production and post-production.  
    • Be the expert in the creation and support of videos, screenshots, podcasts, e-learning modules and additional mediums across LinkedIn Help Center areas.
    • Develop and drive a rich media strategy in line with LinkedIn’s KMS strategy to support and deliver against business expectations while establishing clear objectives and KPIs with measurable business impacting outcomes.
    • Take ownership in using and maintaining the appropriate voice, tone, language, format, and structure of rich media content in accordance with LinkedIn content guidelines keeping into consideration localization requirements through the world.
    • Develop a deep understanding of rich media content requirements across product lines.
    • Collaborate with global content writers and Product Operations Managers (POM) to understand the current requirements and address existing issues.
    • Communicate and establish relationships cross-functionally to lead rich media initiatives across teams and troubleshoot quickly, and effectively to drive resolution.
    • Identify opportunities for content experience optimization and make informed recommendations to improve the Help Center experience with rich media solutions leveraging data for insight and objective potential impact.
    • Develop in-depth analysis and reporting of rich media effectiveness and scalability impact

     BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years of experience in creating and managing rich media content in the online space.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience creating educational rich media content
    • Experience in rich media content optimization, applying data analysis and instructional design standards.  
    • Advanced knowledge of Camtasia, Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Corel Draw and similar tools.
    • Proven ability to develop and manage rich media projects that meet and/or exceed business objectives.
    • Experience with Help Center, Online Self-Service and internet product-centric companies
    • Proven innovative thinker and strong communicator to different levels of an organization
    • Team oriented mindset with experience working in collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to deliver projects with high quality.
    • Strong project and resource management skills.
