The successful candidate will enjoy the following:

- Collaborating with the clients’ team, providing support and data to help drive decision making
- Learning and implementing tools to provide each client with the best possible accounting solutions, business processes and efficiencies
- Providing quality work to all clients as if it were your own business
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Accounts Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices and maintaining customer and vendor records such as grant billings and reconciliations
- Accounts Payable including: purchase orders and vendor records maintenance
- Multiple bank/credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly reports and journal entries, as needed
- General ledger maintenance
- Prepare bi-monthly payroll
- Prepare monthly financial statements and report to the Board of Directors, Executive Directors and Business Owners
- Ensure accurate preparation of Prepare annual 1099’s and W-2s via payroll service
- Coordinates annual agency audit in consultation with the Executive Director where appropriate
- New vendor setup and maintenance
- Record cash/check deposits
- Prepare and/or review of all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure
- Ensure all clients are delighted with our services – timely and effective communication, delivery on deadlines and deliverables, and providing value through excellent accounting support
Qualifications/Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 5 years in QuickBooks Online
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of fund accounting
- Experience working with grants and grant accounting
- Knowledge of Federal guidelines and procedures
- 5 years Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically excel
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
- Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts of the Authority
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills
