Humane Society Naples is accepting applications from internal applicants only for the position of Lead Animal Care Team Member at the von Arx Adoption Center. The Lead Animal Care Team Member at von Arx provides significant support to the Satellite Shelter Manager and serves as the location Supervisor when the Satellite Shelter Manager is off or otherwise not present. The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

Provide the highest standards of care for all shelter residents

Have strong dog, cat, and small mammal handing skills

Provide excellent customer service

Well-versed in adoption counseling

Work well in a team environment, including with volunteers

Demonstrate sound judgement in unusual or challenging situations

Attention to detail and ability to see the big picture

Have strong potential to develop leadership, supervisory, and training skills

A minimum of one year animal care and adoption experience at HSN is preferred but not required.

Compensation: Minimum $19.00/hr
