My responsibilities includes the following: welcoming and greeting visitors and guests; working with diverse populations worldwide; conducting campus tours for prospective students, their families, ASL classes, school groups, Gallaudet Alumni, international visitors, and more; representing Gallaudet University during their Open Houses and recruiting events; sharing expanded knowledge of Gallaudet University; maintaining professionalism and appearance at Visitors Center's front desk; giving guidance and direct referrals to appropriate departments on campus; assisting with a variety of project-related tasks; restocking recruitment materials in the lobby area; attending bi-weekly staff meeting and/or in-service training; staying abreast of current University policies and admissions procedures; and performing other related duties as assigned.
