- Established ex vivo co-culture model with MDCK and Leishmania parasite titers and performed differential interference contrast imaging and cell viability assays - Analyzed the disruption of cytoskeleton and tight junctions using staining and semi quantitative PCR - Evaluated the apoptotic markers using western blot analysis and further studied the infection of host macrophages and subsequent treatment with inflammasome modulators
