After my year of service as a VISTA, the WV Hive hired me as a contract employee to continue on as the WV Hive’s Outreach Assistant. I continued to support ongoing and effective community outreach, marketing and communications efforts, as well as organize and produce events such as Pitch Southern West Virginia’s business idea competitions, the Hive’s Open House, and the Hive’s orientation courses. I also continuously provided direct support to the Hive’s business advisors and director.

Fun Fact
Before I graduated from high school, I accumulated over 1,000 hours of volunteer service. Just this year, Steward's Individual Placement Program nominated me for the 2019 Governor's Service Award in West Virginia for my service as a VISTA with the WV Hive Network.
Passion
My reason for living is to help other people in whatever way I can. Specifically, it is my desire to serve in my home state of West Virginia and have a meaningful impact on those who live and work in the mountain state.
