Fun fact
Before I graduated from high school, I accumulated over 1,000 hours of volunteer service. Just this year, Steward's Individual Placement Program nominated me for the 2019 Governor's Service Award in West Virginia for my service as a VISTA with the WV Hive Network.
Volunteer
I worked with an after-school program to help students with their homework as well as providing enriching STEAM activities.
As part of the Downtown Taskforce Initiative, I helped to create a PSA about homelessness in the downtown area of Morgantown, WV.
I helped keep the thrift store clean and organized.
I worked with a small group of people to prepare and mail Christian Help's quarterly newsletter.
As a mentor, I worked with an after-school program to help kids with their homework and give them a snack aimed to help students living in poverty.
During the summer and fall, I would take each dog on walk and play with them outside to get some exercise and fresh air.
