• Researched US pine plantation literature to understand medium-run pine supply in the US historically and into present day.
• Worked alongside leading consultants from North Carolina State University to predict pine supply, using Sub-Regional Timberland Supply model.
• Utilized ArcGIS to thoroughly analyze and map various timberland attributes.
• Performed data analysis over status, harvest count, supply, cost and more for multiple sites using USDA aggregated data and Microsoft Excel.
• Successfully selected two sites for pine tree production.
• Executed a complete life cycle analysis on two pine producing sites using GREET model software, evaluating on emissions and costs of production and transportation.
• Completed a final report (Microsoft Word) and presentations on research, selection, and analysis.
